Community Projects
The Kiwanis Club of Troy orchestrates numerous community activities in order to serve children in Miami County.
B.U.G Program - Bringing Up Grades
We recognize 4th & 5th graders for bringing up their grades each grading period. These students are typically not rewarded for this through honor roll, etc. Students are celebrated for bringing up any grade through various types of gifts.
Reading at Headstart
Several times throughout the school year, Kiwanis members read to the preschool students at Headstart in Troy. Each student gets two books that are read to them each time we visit.
At Christmas, we provide each child with hat and gloves donated by our members.
Miami County Fair - Kids Day
Through our partnership with the Miami County Fair, our club pays for the food provided to kids and their families that day. We invite the Piqua Kiwanis Club to volunteer at Kids Day with us.
Annual Toy Drive
Each Christmas, we gear up for our Annual Toy Drive in partnership with Buffalo Wild Wings and Power 107.1 to collect donations for foster children at Isaiah's Place and Miami County Children's Services.
Members of the community can adopt an angel from the tree or drop of any toy/monetary donation at Buffalo Wild Wings that has a child's age, gender and wish list!
Infant Car Seat Program in Partnership with Piqua Kiwanis Club
Together, these two clubs purchase car seats which are donated to Upper Valley Medical Center to ensure that every infant goes home safely!

Aktion Club
A service club within Troy High School open to all students, 9th-12th grade! This student-led organization provides services to younger students within the district and to the community. They participate in all Kiwanis Club of Troy fundraising.
Each year, our club provides scholarship opportunities to active graduating members.
A service club within Miami County open to adults served by the Miami County Board of Developmental Disabilities. This member-led organization fundraises to provide community support. They participate in all Kiwanis Club of Troy fundraising.
